It is where the gear channel passes the seal. Mine looked like the pass through cut in the seal was not quite large enough and square. I'm watching and making sure I keep the seals clean and lubed. As a note make sure you always check the top of the slide box Before you bring it in and remove all debris.]]>

On the other hand, I can't begin to suggest what you could do to stop it.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>Is it the metal gear track on the side of the slide room that is doing the damage?</div><div><br></div><div>Maybe you could clamp something (another piece of rubber) in place at that point where it's getting chewed on to protect the seal, but &nbsp;take care not to inhibit movement of the slide. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>How bad is it? A pic would really help on this one.&nbsp;</div>]]>
