We got it in Southern Indiana also. 6 above zero this a.m. I saw -7 last week. Still 10 inches of snow on the ground. The ABSOLUTE worse part of all this is that I use the Pod to escape to when Donna is watching the " Voice " I go out there and flip on the electric heater and watch t.v. but its so flipping cold I cant stand it out there. Got a surprise -6 F at my house this morning, the coldest I've seen in the 10 1/2 years we've been there.  And more single-digit temps coming up (happily in the positive and not negative territory).  Yay.
 
Outbound - nothing like a fast run down a mountain to point out where your cold weather gear needs improvement!  I prefer 2 skiis, though.  The one time I (and my friend) was on a snowboard, our first run down the mountain he fell and broke his hand and had to take a ride down in the ski patrol sled.  That was our last run.  In hindsight we were cocky teenagers who thought since we were expert skiiers, we could figure out the board on our own...

I have been out in -40 (C or F, take your choice) - but that was when I was young and stupid.  Two runs down the mountain and I had to head inside for a warm-up.

It has finally got out of the thirties here in Orlando ,fla. And will be 80 today. This is our summer ,while summer is our winter (to hot,humid,& buggy). We are reverse snow snowbirds. We head for coo!er climates during the summer with camper in tow. We are not quite this bad but this is only 3 hours away from us.

Banks at the end of my drive are 15 feet at the highest part but most of that is from throwing snow. I have no place left to put snow. 

Edit: As a matter of fact where the trailer is parked in my signature picture the snow is up to about where the bottom of the windows are on the Pod.

Today we were -3c, tonite down to -25c Monday -20c Monday nite -35 to -39c   Tuesday high of -35c with wind chill added Tuesday nite -30c then warming up to -15c on Wednesday...........
