    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3022" rel="nofollow">Mountainrev</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5846<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20 Feb 2015 at 12:48pm<br /><br />When you say Grand Junction area, how big a range are you looking at?&nbsp; Thirty minutes or so from Grand Junction is the Grand Mesa, which is a very high, flat mountain containing lots and lots of lakes and campgrounds.&nbsp; Southeast of Grand Junction you get into the San Juan mountains, which are amazing.&nbsp; But you'll be a couple of hours from Grand Junction.&nbsp; Is that too far?&nbsp; <br><br>If not, there are several campgrounds in the Ouray area, some with full hookups (RV parks).&nbsp; Matterhorn Campground near Telluride is a Forest Service campground, but has several sites with full hookups, which is unusual.&nbsp; There are many great campgrounds in the Durango area, but now you're about four hours from Grand Junction.&nbsp; <br>]]>

Any recommendations for rv parks/dry camping in the Moab/Grand junction/Kodachrome/hanksville areas?? Thinking of staying mostly in the high country but we are not opposed to the warmer areas too.<br /><br />I know its a vague question so thanks in advance for the help.<br /><br />]]>
