Is there a way to revise your route in Earth?

Not that I am aware of...however, you can breakdown the legs so you can map point to point of a preferred route to avoid the direction you don't want to go. Smile

I use maps to plot my preferred route, then Earth to study the terrain and then adjust accordingly.

Very neat!

Is there a way to revise your route in Earth?  I usually use Maps because I can drag to re-route.  I can also get an Earth view, so have used Maps more often, even though we have a PRO license here at work.

Anybody ever use Google Earth? Check this out. Thumbs Up

This function can be used to navigate around high altitude grades or at least, become more aware of them!

Top left hand side under the search bar select "Get Directions" Type in your beginning and end point for the trip. A fixed purple line will appear with a suggested route. Unlike Google Maps you cannot drag and drop the route line, it's fixed. But here is the bonus, right click on the line and select "Show Elevation Profile" up pops a graph representation showing the elevation profile on the route. Now drag the vertical line left and right back and forth along the graph. The information provided gives the altitude, the % of grade, the location in miles and a corresponding red arrow on the map to show where it is located.
