No, and I will be checking out these small trailers at the next RV show.  My plan is to make a 2 person small trailer work for me, one way or the other, since it will be just me using it for the most part.  Also, it will only get used maybe 3 or 4 weekends a year (I take it to certain race tracks).

Have you been inside of a 171 yet?  The reason I ask is that we thought that was the model we wanted, too, until we set foot in a 177 and than a 178.  The slide-out, while it adds a bit of weight, really makes a difference in making the camper feel much more spacious.  If you're downsizing from a MH, you might feel a bit claustrophobic in a 171.

Hello everyone,

I'm really more of a lurker at this point.  Currently I own a Forest River Solera motorhome, a 2010 model.  My plan is to downsize back to a small trailer next fall.  The R-pod 171 is currently my first choice.  So, we'll see how this all shakes out!  Anyway, glad to be here and thankful for all the good information.
