With a 2011 model there is the chance of it being either way.  It changed on the later 2011's but was still the small one on the early 2011's.  

My 2011 has the large one, other 2011's that I Pod around with have the small one.

We just got it used and I'm looking for the Rdome .
This pod has the multi color rings so dome color is not important.
