Just got back.  Great weather, warm and sunny.  As we left there were storm clouds in the distance, so we lucked out with the weather.  R-pod worked great.  I'm getting better at backing it up also!

We are trying to find a spot for thanksgiving podding as well. I thought about Joshua tree but I haven't looked at availability yet. Everywhere I have tried on the coast between sand diego and long beach is sold out with the exception of a few high class motorhome resorts, no thanks. Even Death valley (furnace creek) is sold out. I'm pretty amazed this many people do Thanksgiving in the RV. Pretty cool.

We were thinking possibly pirate cove on the Colorado River or Shoshone CA near Death valley, Haven't decided.
