I live in Southern Indiana and we can have temps in the single digits. I do put out a couple of dryer sheets under the storage areas as I have heard this keeps mice from trying to get in. batteries out of the detectors. paper products, sheets, towels, pillows are ok. We don't even leave sugar, salt, pepper or spices inside during winter. We remove those items and replace with fresh in the spring.

We will be storing ours at an RV/Boat storage facility and it will be parked in a crushed shell lot.

If leaving in storage, do you leave any food items (which are in sealed plastic containers) or paper goods (TP or Scott Towels) in the POD?

Has anyone found a locking water cap?
Also, a replacement cap for the black water hose storage container. Ours is missing one end.

I saw on YOUTUBE how one POD owner used a cutting board to make a cover for the stove. Has anyone used anything else to cover the stove to make more counter space?

Thanks in advance for any tips. :-)
