After I get the other one fully charged, I check the electrolyte levels with a portable refractometer pH tester, and also the water levels. Both are usually near perfect for the last year and a half.
I will top them off one more time in the Spring before re-installing them for my first camping trip (usually Memorial day weekend). I hope to get many years of service life out of them.

Under "Battery Charging" it states that the converter also operates as a battery charger when it is connected to a 110 power source. It goes on to say that when charging a battery follow these safety precautions. A total of four, the first being to disconnect the battery from the RV. Is that intended ffor charging your battery ex the converter?

Under "Power Converter". The converter is used to switch 110 volt electricity from an external supply or from a generatorto 12 volt electricity. Does the converter, when connected to 110 volt recharge my battery directly?

Thanks for your response.

Larry158
