Our truck has a tow package, and the manual states that the electronic traction control of the truck will actívate to help control sway in the tráiler. I don't know what the "Heavy Duty Tow Package" in Fords includes. That said, we use sway bars/spring bars, which really helps to reduce "porpoising", and because we frequently have high winds. We only tow without sway bars towing to and from our storage location with an unloaded tráiler.

I think you will have a smoother and safer towing experience.

Vann
