    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=418" rel="nofollow">Outbound</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5417<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 Oct 2014 at 4:19pm<br /><br />On my 171, the bypass valves are located under a plywood panel, under the mattress. &nbsp;There were a couple screws holding it down, but they were removed and thrown away long ago as the plywood panel stays in place without them.<div><br></div><div>Essentially, I remove the sheets/pillows/bedding from the bed, raise the blinds out of the way, lift up the mattress where its accessible in the hallway, sit down on the plywood base under the mattress, rest the mattress on my shoulders, move the plywood access panel out of the way, then turn all three bypass valves.</div>]]>

There are plenty of folks in here with 171s, I'm sure...if you have the time, one will be along shortly and tell you exactly how to get to it.
