Very true.  There's a lot of oil field activity where we are, and every little "rv park" is jammed full.  Hope it keeps up!

That's one of the issues that inspired us to buy a new one.  The relatively few used ones we found weren't that far away from a new one price-wise.  Plus, with a new one, you know everything works.  (That's the theory, anyway Wink)

Thanks for the good advice, when did they switch from all wood cabinet's. I will most likely buy a used one unless I just cant find one imho a camper or boat deprecates in value too fast to buy new unless that all is out there

Howdy from San Antonio! Well, I've only owned my POD for two weeks, but it's sitting in the driveway and I have crawled over every square inch. The interior is warm and inviting, the exterior is attractive and easy to maintain and the PODs are nicely equipped. Are they perfect? No. That said, I have not been left, at all, with the impression with any part of the POD in particular as being cheap or cheesy. So far, I am reasonably satisfied with my investment. built as well as any other mass produced low price point trailer.  most people don't go in expecting perfection, and most of us have all been happy with our purchases.

sure there is a thing here or there that will need tinkering with or a bit of maintenance now and again.  but structurally they are pretty good, structurally speaking they have more aluminum wall supports in them than the larger surveyors.

good luck checking them out.  take a look at as many of the floorplans as you can, and enjoy the experience!!

Hi all I'm Georgia Dave,I own a tent camper now I've been looking to move to a tt for quite some time and don't want to buy a bigger truck I have a 1994 f-150 that I bought new 300 inline 6 and a 2007 Tacoma 6cyl. to be honest I've never been in an R-pod the locals don't have them I looked at the ultra lights but haven't been to impressed also a slide looks almost imposable at the weight I want I can pull one but I've never been one that max out the load. The R-pods looks to me like its just what I'm looking for I'm going to take a day off work soon to go to a dealer and see one in person.
