Cheyenne Camping Center : The best way to look for solar...

I have Renogy 1oo watt panels, at about $120 to $175 each, but I have 6 other panels of other brands, and they all work. Now for the controller, ! have a 30 amp PMW solar panel battery regulator. The reason is, it has 3 connecters on it, 2, solar in, 2, to the battery bank, and 2, to the load. The panels put out 20, or more volts, but the batterys only can take up 14.2 volt charge then cut off, the rest of the volts go to the load ternimal, in witch, you can wire to anything else, Mine is wired to a 12v plug, that I run a 12volt refrigerator on, that is mounted in my truck bed. Ran all summer with the small refrig. on, never pulled down my batterys, also kept my trailer batterys charged. Great setup. Picked this info up from my retired RV'ers living in this Resort I live in for the Winter. Hope the info helps. God Bless, You & yours. Galen.

I drove from my winter home in Arizona, little town of Brenda, near Quartzsite, Arizona. I was in Walcott, Iowa in 4 days. They are the best Dealer I ever bought from. Saved $5000 from any dealer in Arizona, that includes, Quartzsite, where there is as many as a hundred dealers in the winter. ( Quartzsite Vacation Show) . Almost a million folks, mostely retired, like myself. Going on right now,Jan. 20th thru the 29th. Been camping 50 years, bought many trailers. It's worth the drive, as far as warranty work, I do my own, that way I know its done right. I love my Pod, lots of improvements, though, 2-5 lbs Propane tanks, 2 batterys, small safe built in the bathroom, all doors, no nets, carry a 10 foot Porta-Bote, mounted on the door side, awning on top of the slide-out, permanent mounted table, there is only the two of us, 2-100 watt solar panels mounted on my pickup topper to charge the batterys.Ready for Alaska, this summer.

I brought in a complete quote from Couch's and to my surprise, the came very close to matching the deal. They made it very clear that if we purchased elsewhere we would be at the back of the line for service. I believe your dealer will have to work with FR to get you in locally. Hopefully you can find someone more excited to earn your business. Our experience with Kettleson's has been good so far, but I would not be happy with them if I were in your situation.

FYI, I believe you can charge a phone if you plug the phone into the USB outlet on the stereo and select USB as the source. The unit was well equipped and included the R-dome option, all at a very good price. So good, I drove from San Antonio to Iowa to buy it. When I arrived, a day earlier than expected, the R-pod had all ready been prepped and all systems in all modes were checked out. I was immediately escorted to the Pod for a detailed 360 walk through all while my truck was having a complete tow package installed. After the walk through I received all the documentation necessary to title and register here in Texas, and they had already placed a temp trip permit on the Pod. Soon after my truck was pulled around the front with the Pod in tow where the service tech then gave me a overview of the brake controller and WDH. The system had already been adjusted and was ready to roll. A bottle of Cooks Champagne and a rose topped of the deal and I was on my way. This place was like the NASCAR of RV lots. I was in and out of there in about 2.5 hours. Loved it. A no non-sense deal. They didn't try to sell me anything else, they simply offered a great RV at a great price and that's it. There really is NO CATCH. My expectations of customer service are very high and I generally don't give out referrals, but in this case I truly don't have a problem here. These people know what the customer wants and so they give it to them. Good luck! I really hope your buying experience was as good as mine, where ever you go.
