Not a problem Podster, but even if "not allowed" I consider the dome to part of my camper and as such, I should be able to put up the dome with no questions asked. Looking back I may have misunderstood "not allowing" and misconstrued it to mean wanting to charge. In 3 years of camping we've never had anyone want to charge us extra for the dome.... Interesting. Flip side...

We spent a week @ Pfeiffer Big Sur State park this past summer. Nice big site. $35.00/night - expensive for no hookups, but it is California.

We had the R-Pod with the dome up all week and our traveling companions parked their Roadtrek in the same site for four nights. They did charge us an extra $10 per night for the Roadtrek, but I thought that was reasonable.

no kidding?  wow i'd have to get rather upset about someone telling me that.  it connects to my Pod just like an awning does.

a wet dome is an unhappy dome.  there have a been a few times we'll take ours home wet and lay it out in the driveway to fully dry before rolling it back up.

glad it was better than you expected though.  a lot of us would not be caught camping without our domes up.

Rdome was better than expected. Still limits number of sites that can be used if dome is to be used. Would not want to take it down in rain or wet.would only use for a stay of at least a week.
