If it isn't, I might have to consider replumbing mine when I buy it.&nbsp;</td></tr></table><br><br>&nbsp; I think the pipes are PEX, or something similar, but aside from the fixtures and junctions, there is the water pump and water heater that you really don't want to freeze.&nbsp; And if you're talking about winter camping, burst pipes is a big potential part of the problem, but if your water freezes you don't have water even if nothing breaks.<br><br>&nbsp; It's definitely not the same if you can't take a hot shower, but with antifreeze for the toilet and some bottled water for drinking and cooking, everything else is covered.<br><br>&nbsp; I've never heard this discussed, but I wonder about frozen contents in the grey and black tanks -- not to mention the potable tank.&nbsp; If you are going down the road when it starts to thaw you're going to have icebergs ramming the inside of the tanks.&nbsp; Ice would, literally, be a lot harder on the tanks than liquid water.<br><br>&nbsp; TT<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=217" rel="nofollow">techntrek</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 5298<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16 Sep 2014 at 1:34pm<br /><br />We've had a few mid-winter get-togethers around here.&nbsp; If you are camping mid-winter just leave it winterized and use campgrounds with heated bathrooms.&nbsp; Keep a gallon of RV antifreeze in the bathroom to flush if you need to use it in the middle of the night.&nbsp; Keep a dishpan in the sink to catch any water from brushing teeth, washing hands, etc, and throw that in the bushes.&nbsp; A few gallons of fresh water on the counter and a small electric heater and you are good.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>Now, if the temps are dipping a few degrees below freezing for a few hours each night, don't worry about it.&nbsp; Keep your fresh water tank filled at least 1/4 full to ensure there is enough mass to keep it and the fresh water line from freezing.</div>]]>
