That was not easy because the general manual does not go into that level of detail.  "They're in there somewhere" wasn't the level of help that I needed at this early point in my R-pod ownership.

Google helped me out again - I was lucky that someone else had pointed out the relative difficulty of having to remove the mattress and underlying boards - I'd still be looking if I hadn't tripped across that.  I think these kinds of thing might vary by floor plan and I can see where it would require a lot of effort to create/maintain documents for each floor plan (which would add to purchase cost), but I also think there is a definite need/audience for it.

Of course a forum such as this one is why I chose an R-pod in the first place, so it's not like I'm hung out to dry, but it would seem to make sense for the manufacturer to provide a bit more documentation at a more detailed level.

Travis and Carrie, thanks for the info! After a quick google search, I found a helpful 50 page manual by Forest River, and that's a big help, too!!

We will enjoy the pod for years to come. I just had Amazon deliver the cover as the winter's quickly approaching....

In the mean time, ask any questions you want here, everyone is willing to answer even the most basic question.  Your questions and the answers would even make the material needed to fill in the gaps in the "manual".
