Shocked Hello everyone, Bought a new 2014 178 4 weeks ago and used it on a trip to Colorado. The slideout stopped and the micro/convection oven stopped working. Took it back to the dealer and it has been there for 3.5 weeks now waiting for parts from Forest River. The dealer just received the slide out gear bix replacement and they say they are still waiting for micro. I explained to them that the type of micro in my pod was discontinued due to the company making them went bankrupt. So really frustrated that Forest River is taking so long to send replacement parts. Welcome to the group! We just recently purchased our 2015 178 as well. Depends on the brake controller.  On my Prodigy it is around 6.2.

Welcome to the forum from KY.
 You may need to adjust the intensity of your brake controller. It sounds too high. I suppose there could be a very small amount of smoke from breaking in new parts if it's new but that should go away after the first 50 miles.
