Author: M3
Subject: 5056
Posted: 27 Jul 2014 at 9:25pm

Going to pick up my new 2015 178 on Thursday! I have camped in everything from a tent, to travel trailer to teardrop (bed on wheels) to 34 ft. 5th wheel. Back to simplicity. The r-pod is the miata of the camping world. Small, cute and fun. Think I will christen her lilypod .
I can relate to livinggood49. I am a year from retirement, just finished building a house that comes with a brand new 30 year mortgage, and buying this toy. What the heck. Life is shorter by the minute. Play is good. Love this forum. Makes it even more fun to have an r-pod.

By the way, in the Asheville, NC area there are several nice small campgrounds. Mama Gertie's in Swannanoa and Moonshine Creek in Balsam. If staying there, ask for sites 9, 10, 11 or 12 on the creek. If you go 30 minutes east to Marion, check out Mountain Stream. Great little campground.

Of course, those are just my humble opiniions.
