I'll be sure it has a AUX in for my iPod/iPhone. (stereo hopefully). We're not to concerned with FM/AM radio at this time. We also hope to have a DirecTV setup as well for the TV. (we are subscribers and will take one of our home receivers camping). All we need is the portable dish and some cable and a place to put all of this !! But Im sure we will, somehow.

As far as the "Loud" AC goes, we'll just have to put up with that until we get more information about a quieter unit. No hurry with that.

We will keep all of this stuff "inside" (expect for dish) for our own entertainment during the night or rainy days.

I too believe that respecting ones camping neighbors is of utmost importance.

But Im sure there are times when its appropriate to have outside music going, just not presented in a disturbing manner, like to loud, or adult content.

I much rather sit by a fire, talk, take a hike, or hopefully look at the stars too.

HAPPY PODing !!!

You could get an inexpensive desktop computer powered speaker system with a subwoofer (3-way system) and you would have to get a long rca connector extension to connect it, but since there is an outdoor ac outlet the power to the speaker system is available, you would just have to find a path for the rca cable.
If you want to get more sound you could always set it up with a stereo power amp and some weatherproof speakers to match. You can get some real deals on cables, power amps and speakers on E-bay.

You have just inspired me to do just that to our 171.

It is actually over engineered for as small as it is - the A/C and furnace are rated for a 26ft camper - and the fridge is twice as big as I expected.

The only thing I can possibly think of is an outside stereo speaker that can feed from the TV / FM / DVD player... that would be sweet!
