Author: mmgraham969
Subject: 4955
Posted: 24 Jul 2014 at 9:00pm

Don't forget flashlights, battery operated lanterns, and maybe a "headlight"--one of those flashlight-like devices that faster around your head with elastic straps. Those guys are great when you're doing something in the dark and you need both hands to do it. Strike-anywhere matches come in useful in a lot of circumstances. If you're concerned about the possibility of the head getting wet and disintegrating, just dip the head in a bit of melted wax. Parachute cord (AKA 550 cord) is useful for anything from hanging up wet/dirty clothes to securing items in your storage area to keep them from bumping around. Don't forget your corkscrew and Leatherman/Swiss Army Knife. Happy camping!

One that includes the square bits. I found the screws like to back out when traveling. A little dab of clear silicon on the threads helps keep it from happening again and you can still remove the screw later on if needed.

Not sure what you have with yours but this is what I purchased. White fresh water hose, pressure valve for hose, extra power cable, levelling blocks, sewage dumping kit, hose for black tank flushing, adapter to go from electrical hookup to 110v for home connection and a few cans of beer! May have left something out but this is a start.. Driveway camped first. Two road trips with the third starting Monday for a few days in Algonquin Park. Love the R Pod
