We just bought a 177, and our TV is a 2005 GMC Envoy XL with the inline 6 cylinder engine and towing package. It tows without too much problem (we keep it at about 55-60 mph for safety and fuel efficiency), but you really have to slow up a LOT in the mountains.

The 178 and 179 are a bit heavier, so I wouldn't recommend either for a RAV4 if you intend on pulling your Pod through any mountainous areas. Welcome!  What part of pa are you in?  In Adamstown pea outside of reading Pa is Stoltzfus that sells r-pods. They have been know to come close to couches pricing.  I bought mine from them

 Hi, been lurking here for awhile reading all the info. I just took a peek at the R pod 179 & 178 that my local dealer just got in. Been waiting for a long time till he got them in, so that i can see them up close. I must say, I am impressed with all that they have. If my local guy comes in close to Couch`s quote, i will get it from him.  If not i will be taking a ride to OH. I drive a 2012  Rav4 V6/tow package 3.5L 269Hp. 3500lbs tow limit. I have been searching for the past year all over the place. LOL  likes this one.
