Thanks mtbmitch. Going to be in Ketchum for a week (in a condo), so we will be riding around town and on Baldy. Plan on spending 2 nights in the Stanley basin before heading to Yellowstone. Mountain Biking Sun Valley, Idaho by FalconGuide is a good resource. Has elevation profile and a description

of the ride.

I would suggest driving up over Galena Pass and riding Elk mountain trail as well as Potato Mtn. these are also in the book. Skip the fisher williams loop.

Going to be in SV/Ketchum area in Aug with our 179....any suggestions on good single track for older experienced rider. I've been amazed at the amount of snow in the Rockies at this late date this year. We just came back from Yellowstone and there was still a good amount of snow there as well. It looks like the Sawtooths had their fair share as well and it's sticking around too.

We were up in Stanley last year and did the Elk Meadows loop on our bikes. Fun ride!

Camped/ dirt bike rode last weekend at Bull Trout Lake Idaho. Elevation of lake at 6900MSL. Nice cool weather with highs around 60 and lows around 30. First pic is near the Sacagawea Hot Springs.
