A few dollars in sealant can save an expensive warranty leak during the warranty period.<br /><br /> VW also does this inside the doors of some of their vehicle with wax so water cannot rust them from the inside, even thought he steel is double galvanized already. They just don't ever want any rust during the 10 year warranty.]]>

Why? I put on an Utra-Breeze vent not too long ago and had to cut away about 2 inches of goop (lap sealant) to do it. Doesn't make any sense.</div></div><div><br></div><div>My roof is ugly with cement and I don't understand why when my boat which took on salt water waves wasn't.
