Keith hit the nail on the head. Donna wants a walk around bed, we have talked about getting something different but its not that big of a deal. Yeah the Pod bath is tight, but I have used the shower several times and I have NEVER gotten lost in there. You either get used to it or not.  If it is the best shower available we use ours.  The toilet is used for convenience in the middle of the night.  For us it works well.  Some decide to move up to a camper with a dry bath.  Our biggest dissatisfier is not being able to walk around the bed.  If anything makes us switch campers that will be it.

We purchased a 179 memorial weekend from petes RV in Schererville IN for $13,990 base price. It was fun road tripping up there to pick it up. Give Scott a call. Petesrv.com. I live our SeaPod. The small bathroom concerned me at first, but decided that we wouldn't be doing a whole lot if boondocking, so it would probably only get used in the middle of the night. Love the storage. Hello from steamy GA!  We used to have an R-Pod 173 (one of the original models) and didn't like the cramped feel, with no slide and no storage.  We currently have an Aliner Classic, figuring that if we're going to be cramped, we might as well enjoy the benefits of easier and cheaper towing than the R-Pod 173 gave us.  Well, the cheaper towing and smaller tow vehicle is great, but the lack of a bathroom, no storage to speak of, AND tight space has proven a bit much.  After two years, we're trying to sell it, especially after getting a look at the new R-Pod 179!  It has STORAGE, as well as a bathroom (albeit a small one).  We'll see if our Aliner sells.  If so, we may be rejoining the Podder world - fingers crossed!  We tow with a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder, which is a more than adequate tow vehicle for an R-Pod.]]> Tue, 10 Jun 2014 10:00:42 +0000 http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4825&PID=46969#46969
