    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=705" rel="nofollow">g4royce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4726<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16 May 2014 at 12:25pm<br /><br />1 large egg white<div>9-10oz icing sugar</div><div>1 drop flavouring of choice (optional)</div><div><br></div><div>1) beat egg white and add sugar</div><div>2) add flavouring (optional)</div><div>2) mix until it becomes a paste/dough</div><div>3) separate into 2 small pieces and roll each into a ball.</div><div>4) put the ball on a microwave safe plate and microwave for 1 min 50 - 2 mins depending on the strength of your microwave</div><div>5) The meringue will have puffed up. &nbsp;Let it sit in the microwave with the door closed for 2 mins after wards to allow it to come down to temperature slowly and the crust to harden. &nbsp;* Opening the door too quickly after the cooking process will cause the meringue to deflate into a hard pancake.</div><div><br></div><div>6) Once the meringue has cooled, it can be sliced open for fillings to make a Pavlova.</div><div><br></div><div>The remaining egg yolk can be used to make a lemon curd to saved for a hollandaise.&nbsp;</div>]]>
