The early models have excessive noise and vibration and Dometic came up with a change in May of 2012 adding the soft grommet. I have read it makes a very noticeable difference. We are bringing our camper into Camping World to have the grommet kit installed hopefully we will be able to tell the difference. &nbsp;]]>
