I just finished another mod today, I used a 5 x 5 inch pvc post cover and mounted directly behind the dump valves with a 4.5 inch pvc gutter insde to carry the sewer hose with wooden handles to pull it out like a tray. both ends get a post cap, one glued and the other with a bolt all the way through on the dump side. I can't really take credit for the design saw it while looking at large trailer modifications on the web. Anyway the one that wasa under the tongue was so cheesey and fell off once where the bolt holes broke out. I think due to summer heat. whoever asked about the Jack, got one off e bay for $90. new it works great. plus if I run into probs I have the emergancy crank and the new scissor jacks to lift it. Can't wait to get camping this year.

I tried a cheap one from Harbor Freight (actually I tried 2) and didn't have any luck at all. One failed as I was trying to leave a campground, the other failed as I returned home, both on their first trip, thank God for bottle jacks. Still looking for the right power jack.

We purchased a 171 in 2010. What fun! Every where we go fellow campers are so curious about the 171. When we travel it is loaded for fun. Our kayaks, bicycles and our dogs. We both enjoy using the God given gift of good health.
I have completed a few conveniences, a 19" flat screen with blue ray in our bed area, a new 110v circuit with GFIC controlled circuit one outlets (1 on each side) of the dining area, a power tounge jack, four 7,500 scissor jacks, and a pair of risers.
I really love messing with the RCU. By the I tack welded all accessories to the RCU after losing a power to a thief while on a bike with the dogs.
RCU
