Neat job, Soda. I would consider that! We're looking at a Kodiak 173 Which is about 21' long. Well, TNT, a bunk would help with the grandkid problem, but exacerbate the wife's elbow room complaints. After 49.75 years of marriage, I know better than to go there! I don't think the Pod is gonna be part of any compromise. At that, I guess I can't complain too much. We've got a lot of great use out of our little pod. We love our little pod, and the big 'ol Airstream.. But when we really get to our "last" TT, it's going to be a CampLite. They have a bunkhouse at 21 and 28 feet..We still owe a little bit on the pod.. My guess is, when we pay it off..

  I know how you feel, I was content with our r-pod 171 but my wife was wanting more room. We looked at many campers but I stood firm that we were not getting another tow vehicle. We ended up with the Vibe 6503 and we are both happy and have only $12,100 in to it. Ok, I'm the guy who said the Pod was my last TT. Well, blame my grandkids, my wife and my cursed cousin. Our grandkids have outgrown the little couch in the 175, are too young to tent it outside, and we don't want to miss this quality time with them over the next few years.

My cousin and wife are conspiring against me. My cuz just got a beautiful new 31' Puma and my wife is swooning. "OK, honey, you pick out the new 3/4 ton or one ton tow rig." "And you, my wife, can do the towing now and back into the 18' Forest Service and NP sites."

I'd prolly be satisfied with the RP 179 to solve the grandkid problem, but the wife is talkin' elbow room--Damn Puma! Damn cousin! Maybe she'll compromise at 20 to 23 feet--sumpthin' the Tundra could tow. I don't want to purchase and feed another 3/4 or 1 ton. I enjoy having enough money to eat, too much.
