  Welcome, we too went from tent camping to the r-pod with all the comforts of home. I've been to Durango many times and done the train too. We just got our 177. Too many mods to do too little time.

Try the KOA in Cortez.
when we camped there a few years ago it was ranked #2 in the nation for KOA's . We rode the Durango-Silverton railway last summer from Silverton. It just confirmed our belief that we *need* to live out there....

We recently purchased a 2014 RP177. This is our first travel trailer with all the comforts. No more tent camping for me. I immediately started with the mods, and the list only gets bigger. No plans at this time for any long trips, there are countless possibilities within a 100 miles of home.
