Welcome to the RPOD world and welcome aboard this forum. No need to disconnect the overhead fan. Just make sure the fan setting  on the thermostat is set to Auto. Then only the heater fan will run when heat is required. The high/low fan settings turn on the AC blower. The heater blower is a single speed unit. we made a long road trip and brought home our new 182 G! We got it at Hilltop RVs in Fridley, MN ( they were great!). They took it as a trade-in: a family with two kids used it twice and went for something bigger....OK by me! We camped overnight in a small RV park in Eagleville, MO and had a good nights rest before coming on back to OK. Heater worked good,but was NOISY so my husband disconnected the fan unit overhead and just used the furnace: is that OK? Anyways, we love it and are so excited to be a part of this great group!
