Cooper is an energetic boy. But he seems to be mellowing a bit since his birthday. And we've been taking him to obedience classes which have made a huge improvement in his behaving. I installed an invisible fence last summer & his training on that starts as soon as the snow melts & we can find the flags again.    Welcome! with a 14 month old Border Collie that could be handful if he or she has a lot of energy and likes to run. Doug, the class is only rough on the dog. LOL! Actually he looks forward to going every week so it can't be too bad.
The Prodigy P3 & wiring kit showed up lastnight after ordering from E trailer 2 days ago(fast shipping!).So I know what my weekend is going to consist of. After giving the dogs baths, Throwing a tenderloin in the smoker, etc. Too many things to accomplish before our new arrival. Hello all. We've been lurking on this & the other forum since the beginning of the year. Made a special trip to southern Ohio a few weeks ago to look over a 179 & ended up buying a 178 yesterday. We are very excited about this! We started tent camping many years ago. Then bought an '85 Coleman Columbia about 9 years ago. We loved that camper! Last fall we saw a 177 at an RV show & have been perusing them ever since. We have made numerous trips to different pod dealers. But ended up buying from Couch's. We couldn't beat(or match) the deal.
So as of this writing we are scheduled to pick up our 178 on March 22nd.
About us: She & I are early-mid 50's. Our daughter is a college junior. Our "Hairy Podders" are a 14 month old Border Collie & a 12 year old Lab mix. We reside in Northwest Ohio, around the Toledo area.Pictures to follow later, as I find time. We are off to dog shaming class....
