So much to consider about maintaining and feeding of the Rpods. From my perspective, after reading all of the posts regarding maintenance before we bought ours, I would suggest a torque wrench. Check each wheel before travel each trip. I torque ours to 95 ft. lbs. I read where a Podder had lost a wheel, like yours, and I didn't want to deal with the aftermath. Lots more to read regarding maintenance. You might also want to replace your mattress before experiencing the exquisite pain of sleeping on the matt that FR provides. Safe Travels.

We really look forward to having long weekend trips and self contained vacations as soon as possible!

It's really a plus for us that we can take our dogs with us without having to worry about a no pet policy.
This forum is really amazing. My GF, Amber, and I both love a sense of community, close friendships and helping others. My father taught me a long time ago to listen and learn from others. :@)

The RP 176 excited us because if the bunk beds that would allow us to take friends with us. As far as what kind of camping we like to do, we like being able to enjoy full hookups, but we also love being self contained on top of a mountain or next to a river as well as in the out-of-state families driveway.

Is the A.C. that loud in all pods? We did have a 1974 LARK and spent a lot of time and money rehabbing her. I did not however have the axle checked. The whole wheel came off the hub as we were pulling it down the interstate. Fortunately, we or our furry kids weren't injured. The LARK however was opened up like a can of biscuits.

That was over a year ago. Here we are now and we decided to finance the sweet baby!

Well, hello everyone!!!

Jamie and Amber
(Griffin, Zoe, Emma)
2014 RP176
2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Nashville, TN
