    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=598" rel="nofollow">kymooses</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4246<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 Dec 2013 at 9:30pm<br /><br />If you aren't going to keep the Pod heated all winter long you still need to take care of your water pump and the traps in the sinks and shower. &nbsp;You could possibly get by with just running the water pump dry and then just a bit of antifreeze in the traps.<div><br></div><div>If it gets below freezing for very long there that is. &nbsp;Is it really not more than a few hours or so on the occasional night?</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>If you drained everything via the low point drains and emptied your water heater completely, you "should" be okay otherwise.</div><div><br></div><div>If you aren't going to us the systems though while you winter camp I'd just winterize the system. &nbsp;It literally takes minutes to do and then there is no longer a "should" be okay. &nbsp;You "will" be okay.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]>
