Yep. Camping to save money is probably a flawed concept; but, the reasons you mention and feeling at home in some of the most beautiful places on Earth are what keep us hitchin' up.

Look for the Post Reply button just below the last post in the thread (you can't use the Quick Reply box).  Once you are there, look for the little picture of the tree just above the "B".  From there you can upload a pic and place it into your post; repeat for more pics.  Make sure the pics have been sized properly first.  Roughly 6" X 8" works well.

We leave in 4 days, and our marvelous journey will come to an end. We left on September 8th and will be home on October 28th. We have been in 23 states so far and spent every night in Koko, mostly in KOAs. We never made advanced reservations because we wanted to be free to go wherever we chose and at our own pace. It has been everything we expected it to be and more. It has already snowed in Wyoming, so when we get home we'll be winterizing and will be dormant until spring. We're not ready for that! Traveling this way gets in your blood.


Out of curiosity I would assume you slid by the southern end of Lake Michigan and not the southern side of Lake Superior by us?  Sounds like a great trip.

Just wanted to tell you about our 7 week adventure from Wyoming to Niagra Falls, NY, to Quechee, VT, to Freeport, Maine, to Myrtle Beach, SC, to St. Louis, MO. We're on the last leg of our trip in our 177. We have had the greatest time, and our pod accommodated us beautifully.
