That may depend on your weight if you are a heavy person perhaps over 300 lbs. wood screws may not be strong enough. For a grab handle at the doorway of our trailer we secured it with wood screws into wood in the middle of the bath wall, I did not place any fasteners through the wall. &nbsp;David]]>

I may have seen ways to raise the toilet seat but not sure where perhaps is was camping world. I understand your pain, I too have sore knees. I placed grab handles at the door way to enter and exit the trailer easier. &nbsp; David]]>
