You would think the strips used now are better and would have a longer life.<br><br>Bob<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1958" rel="nofollow">Sleepless</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4080<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Oct 2013 at 9:21am<br /><br />Sounds good to me.&nbsp; As long as it is raised in the center, as yours is, it is pressing against the inside of the channels properly.&nbsp; Usually this friction fit will hold it in place, but sometimes it tends to creep in the channel.&nbsp; My pod is in storage so I can't check it, but if yours had a screw at each end, or was doubled up at the ends, or has metal end pieces and a screw at each end, I would use that same method on the new.&nbsp; I believe I read somewhere that a person applied an adhesive to&nbsp; the ends.&nbsp; Newly installed, the vinyl my contract or expand slightly when it becomes acclimated to the channel and the weather.&nbsp; Give it a few days before fastening the ends.<br><br>Bob<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1821" rel="nofollow">hogone</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4080<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Oct 2013 at 6:49am<br /><br />just purchased 100 ft of vinyl trim.&nbsp; mine is all cracked.&nbsp; i read on a previous post how someone installed but it kept coming out.&nbsp; i cut a 1 ft piece to practice with and it would not stay in the track.&nbsp; it's the right size (1 inch).&nbsp; finally realized that it's to be installed upside down as it comes off the roll (if that makes sense).&nbsp; also the trim that i purchased (camco product) the bubble trim (it is narrower) that forms is not as large as the stock trim.&nbsp; i guess i am assuming that will be ok as long as the trim stays in and&nbsp; the track is covered. hope this all makes sense.&nbsp; any thoughts?&nbsp; hogone<br>]]>
