People who NEED removable stabilizers add them. I only know of a couple people who have done it.

http://stores.saveajack.com
I just purchased my first pod R-178 and scraped them three times in the first week. I know the R178 is longer than other pods and I assume that aids to the vulnerability. I think it would be a good idea to mount the stabilizers with quick disconnects for removal during transit. It would be even better to interchange rollers with stabilizers to protect from dragging the rear end over uneven street intersections, driveways, steep hill transitions. Also the 4" risers should be standard on the R-178. Thanks for listening.
