This was in Pennsylvania winter and I found it quite comfortable. I could still get the wifi from the house and would shift between relaxing on the bed with the laptop on my lap and the table as my mood dictated. Also, it was an interesting conversation piece on my Skype video conferences.

I want to buy a small camper for my wife and future child (coming Feb 2014) to go camping in, but here's my thing. We live in a small home in Indianapolis (2 bedroom, no HOA, small but big enough backyard for an r-pod).

We've been looking for a new place to live but haven't found what we're looking for just yet. I also work from home and my wife will likely stay home for awhile after the baby is born. I do a lot of conference calls during the day and I'm concerned that I won't have a quiet place to work from. So would it be possible to work from an r-pod camper? I'm worried about being comfortable in hot and cold months. In the dead of winter I will likely just work from the basement though. I wouldn't plan on hooking it or using the shower or sink when it's in the backyard.

What are your thoughts? Is it crazy?
