I keep the center lights and over the stove incandescent as I think the light is a little brighter and needed for the work area.]]>

The gap in the lamp allows for cooling. It must be simple but I'm having trouble removing the light bulb from the socket. I've pushed up on the little wedge and tried to pull the bulb out of the surrounding box but it won't pull out.
