    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1464" rel="nofollow">coopercdrkey</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3921<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 Sep 2013 at 1:00pm<br /><br /><font size="3">I promised a report on the conditions at Manatee Springs State Park, so here</font><div><font size="3">it is-</font></div><div><font size="3"><br></font></div><div><font size="3">We just returned from two nights and two great days of perfect weather for</font></div><div><font size="3">early September. &nbsp;Daytime hight in&nbsp;the&nbsp;80's, and into the high 60's at night.</font></div><div><font size="3"><br></font></div><div><font size="3">The water situation does in fact merit the precautions mentioned above. &nbsp;The</font></div><div><font size="3">Suannee River is quite high, and the spring head is backed up over the</font></div><div><font size="3">walkways and stairs that normally give swimming access. &nbsp;The woodlands</font></div><div><font size="3">along the spring race are also under water. &nbsp;Our site was at the tip of the loop</font></div><div><font size="3">which is very close to the river to begin with, and the water was no more than</font></div><div><font size="3">100 yards from our site. &nbsp;No problem, but we chose not to swim in the spring</font></div><div><font size="3">this trip.</font></div><div><font size="3"><br></font></div><div><font size="3">No pollution worries.</font></div>]]>

Very nice...You'll like it. We've stayed at St. Joseph, but not St. Georges. Both are a bunch sandy...beach type places. If you like sand you'll like either one. Be sure to look for the Manatees at Manatee Springs.</font></font>]]>

I've seen these parks mentioned on this forum and was looking for input from anyone who may have visited them. They both look very nice on the website, but first hand knowledge is always the best.
