    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=410" rel="nofollow">TerryM</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3915<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 02 Sep 2013 at 12:22pm<br /><br />Just outside of San Antonio is Castroville.&nbsp; The original stage stop is still there and probably more old homes than any place of equal size.&nbsp; The town was settled by Alsaceations from Germany.&nbsp; There is a fantastic German restaurant there as well as a very good French one.&nbsp; I don't remember the names though.&nbsp; The people in Alsace shipped a 1500's house to Castroville and it is open to the public.<br><br>There is also a very good campground at the city park.&nbsp; The park is bordered by a small river.<br><br>Terry <br><h1><br></h1>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=807" rel="nofollow">Keith-N-Dar</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3915<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 01 Sep 2013 at 3:24pm<br /><br />I can't help with camping information, but I think Austin and surrounding areas are great,&nbsp; A couple of "must sees" in the Austin area are Luchenbach, and the LBJ ranch.<br><br>Luchenbach is more than a country song.&nbsp; It is a tiny town with a small country store/post office that sells beer and has picnic tables under live oak trees.&nbsp; Nearly any afternoon there will be someone playing a guitar, banjo, washboard or something and people sit under the trees and listen.&nbsp; Time stands still.<br><br>The LBJ ranch is for guys like me that recall the former president.&nbsp; The property is much like it was when he lived there, and he is buried on the grounds.<br>]]>
