My wife Debbie and I bought a 177 online from Ohio this spring. Had it dropped off in our driveway in Connecticut. We've taken 6 trips with it and are looking forward to more fall camping. We're towing with our "farmer's truck", an '06 Silverado with a six cylinder and standard trans. So far we've made it up all the hills we've tried, even if it meant 2nd gear. Our dog Rosie loves the camper. Only mods so far have been electrical - installed 2 glass mat marine deep discharge batteries and installed an 12v socket in the entertainment center. Haven't even used the tent yet - or stayed at a plug-in campground for that matter.
