    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2124" rel="nofollow">alan7170</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3812<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06 Aug 2013 at 12:14pm<br /><br />Apparently, two forums for these discussions...so I'll post here as well...<div><br></div><div><span style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">After 6 years with a pop-up tent trailer, we purchased our first travel travel trailer a 2014 r-pod 177. &nbsp;Picked it up on a Wednesday and left on Thursday for a 15 day trip into the Rockies. &nbsp;We purchased it from Tom's Camperland in Surprise, AZ which, while a 2.5 hour drive from our home in Tucson, was a great decision. &nbsp;Not only were they 3K less than the Tucson dealerships "best" price, the service was great. &nbsp;They knew I was leaving the following day and they made sure everything was camping ready...even sanitized the fresh water system for us.</span><div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br></div><div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">Towing with our Nissan Xterra, the trip went very well. &nbsp;We had only one interior issue with the r-pod when one of the blinds fell out of the wall on the second day. &nbsp;Of course we plan on curtains instead so will not be re-installing the blinds. &nbsp;I did have some intermittent trouble with the brakes where the pod would pull hard to the right whenever the brakes were applied...not sure if it is a brake our power issue or me not having the controller adjusted properly. &nbsp;I'll keep an eye on it and it may need to be serviced...we'll see.</div><div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><br></div><div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">Been home for 10 days and have been making small modifications to the pod, mostly ideas from the forums. &nbsp;I'll post those in the appropriate forum, later today. &nbsp;Picture below is from Woods Lake campground, southwest of Telluride.</div></div><div style=": rgb251, 251, 253;"><img src="uploads/2124/IMG_5553_small.jpg" height="684" width="1024" border="0" /><br></div>]]>
