Check your cable connections to your battery.  If you are attaching the charger directly to the cables, you are bypassing the battery if the terminals need to be cleaned.  Otherwise, yes, you might have a dead battery, but I doubt it.

techntrek, are you sure that one breaker controls the converter itself?  You may have just taught me something.  I have always disconnected the battery cable to stop battery drain while in storage.  My pod is in storage now so I can't check it out.
