    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1976" rel="nofollow">DavidW</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3739<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 Aug 2013 at 8:35pm<br /><br />We took our second trip to Voyageur Provincial Park from Wednesday to Saturday so that our younger daughter could camp with her friend from Montreal.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Imagine our surprise when another R-Pod pulled up beside us as we were registering.&nbsp; It was CARR-POD on their way back from their 2 and 1/2 week trip to the Gaspe and PEI (see Ed's post above).&nbsp; They were only staying one night but we had a wonderful time meeting them.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/uploads/1976/CARR-POD_August_8_2013.jpg" height="637" width="960" border="0" /></DIV>]]>

We have stayed there before  and like the park. For us it is a logical stop when travelling to the east coast.<br />We are on our way to the Gaspe' then on to PEI <br />We will be on the road for about 2.5 weeks.<br />Ed<br />]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1976" rel="nofollow">DavidW</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3739<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14 Jul 2013 at 10:15pm<br /><br />Just got back from our first week-end away with our 2014 R-Pod 178 with my wife Liz, teenage daugter and our golden retriever Lily.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>As I mentioned in another post, I picked Voyageur Provincial Park which is half-way between Ottawa and Montreal as a good initial test.&nbsp; Easy highway driving and a pull-through campsite.&nbsp; Still did all the newbie things when I arrived tho' - pulled onto the site and realized that the slide-out was on the wrong side.&nbsp;&nbsp; Then discovered that I had carefully packed the level under the u-shaped dinette which meant that I had to toss cushions everywhere to get to it.&nbsp;&nbsp;Took ages to&nbsp;figure out why the electricty wasn't working until I read the instructions on the surge protector.<img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley9.gif" height="20" width="20" border="0" alt="Embarrassed" title="Embarrassed" /></DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Voyageur has 416 campsites, of which 110 have electrical service.&nbsp; The sites <SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; FONT-SIZE: 11pt; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-: EN-US; mso-fareast-: EN-US; mso-bidi-: AR-SA" lang=EN-US>are set in a variety of landscapes from private, wooded lots to open fields with a view.&nbsp; We were in site 26, but when we go back we would choose 81, 79, 83 and 85 as the best electrical sites, and 91 and 89 as the best non-electric sites.&nbsp; All have really nice views of Champlain Bay.</SPAN></DIV><DIV><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; FONT-SIZE: 11pt; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-: EN-US; mso-fareast-: EN-US; mso-bidi-: AR-SA" lang=EN-US></SPAN>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><SPAN style="LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; FONT-SIZE: 11pt; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-bidi; mso-ansi-: EN-US; mso-fareast-: EN-US; mso-bidi-: AR-SA" lang=EN-US><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt" =Ms&#111;normal><SPAN style="mso-ansi-: EN-US" lang=EN-US>Took a short side trip to Beau’s All Natural Brewing Co. in Vankleek Hill to pick up some of their fine brew and a couple of glasses in case any of you decide to join us next time.</P><DIV>Cheers,</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>David</DIV><DIV></SPAN></SPAN>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp; <img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/uploads/1976/Voyageur_1_July_14_2013.jpg" height="960" width="637" border="0" /></DIV></DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>]]>
