   <title>Georgia State Parks - High Falls : High Falls State Park is located...</title>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1956" rel="nofollow">GA_RPOD_178</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3717<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 09 Jul 2013 at 8:17am<br /><br />High Falls State Park is located south of Atlanta, near Jackson, GA. &nbsp;It is only a couple of miles off I-75 for those who are headed up or down the big asphalt. &nbsp;<div><br></div><div>There are two campgrounds, but for many basically the option is the river campground. &nbsp;The lake campground sites are only 25'. &nbsp;The park fees run $29.00, except for a few premium pull through sites. &nbsp;Most have 30 amp service, but a few have 50. &nbsp;All other sites are back in, but the angles are good.</div><div><br></div><div>There is a pool onsite ($5.00) per person/day. &nbsp;There is also a hiking trail that runs by the falls which is fun for those who enjoy lots of steps.</div><div><br></div><div>Just down the road is a water park (small, compared to the mega ones in FL), that is open seasonally from 11 to 5).</div><div><br></div><div>We enjoy High Falls because its not a long trek from Atlanta, but far enough away.</div><div><br></div><div>Link: &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>http://gastateparks.org/HighFalls</div>]]>
