    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1958" rel="nofollow">Sleepless</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3617<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 15 Jun 2013 at 8:22pm<br /><br /><font size="2">Those strips are just as you described.&nbsp; They are vinyl trim strips that are used on almost all RVs to cover the corner screws and improve the appearance of the metal strips.&nbsp; The vinyl trim comes in several widths and are readily available from RV supply stores and on eBay.&nbsp; They are relatively inexpensive and very easy to replace.&nbsp; Normally, the strips will last almost indefinitely.<br><br>In your case, they should be covered by your warranty.&nbsp; <br></font>]]>

   <title>Ext Molding : Hopefully someone will understand...</title>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1821" rel="nofollow">hogone</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3617<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 15 Jun 2013 at 7:05pm<br /><br />Hopefully someone will understand what I'm trying to describe, not sure what to call it!!!&nbsp; It is rubber molding that goes from the very back bottom to the very front bottom on both sides and follows the curvature of the pod along the top.&nbsp; It fits in a channel the entire way.&nbsp; It appears to be (possibly) some sort of rubber molding that covers screws. Well long story short, mine is cracking on one section, very brittle.&nbsp; Anyone encounter this?&nbsp; Sorry if my description is poor! hogone]]>
