I have had five slides in various previous rigs. All leaked at some point. In my "smartie" opinion there are two kinds of slides. Those that have leaked or are leaking now, and the second is those that will leak in the future.

That is why I decided to lose 40 pounds, tighten my belt and buy a 171.

Hrmmm... I've been thinking that it might be coming in under the door.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I've had similar mystery water show up on the floor after driving in the rain with no sign of an entry point. On mine, I've been thinking that it might be coming in under the door. To be honest, I've never really taken a good look at the seal at the bottom of my door - it may well be cracked or missing and I've never noticed.

The outside storage area seals look perfect and was completely dry, and it is also in the back under the floor. Wondering if water could of blown in thru the hot water/heater vents and came in thru the furnace area. That could maybe explain the back water, but not water under table. Both storage areas under the front dinette set perfectly dry. If there's an outdoor storage door in that area check the seals. I've replaced the ones in my 2009 model twice. If they don't seal 100% they'll let in a lot of water.

In my 172 this means water comes into the pass through storage area, sits on top of the linoleum flooring, then creeps into the adjacent inside storage area on the right side, under the water heater/furnace on the left side, and eventually into the dining area in the back.

So does this suggest I should leave the bathroom vent slightly open while towing to equalize the pressure? Although, the shape and placement of the vent cover may add to the vacuum. My Pod is so tight that, with the vent open and running, I can hear the difference when I open a window or the door.

I have had this happen when the fridge trys to ignite and fails I have to reset the fridge by shutting it off and turning it back on. For me I had turned the propane tank on to fast and the safety valve on the tank kicked in so it was not getting gas.

the amount of water i drove through (again torrential and many times only able to drive 25ish to see and control)and the water the tv was throwing up, it's hard to believe there isn't some breach somewhere on the pod but would like to figure it out if possible; just very curious with why those two specific spots

I, and others, have found the vinyl flooring will bubble up while on the road from air pressure. Doesn't seem to always be true but then I don't always run right inside at stops to see. took a 3 day trip up to muscatine, left in a major rain storm; first 3 hours of drive was in constant rain, 2 hours a complete mid west monsoon; anyone living in the mizzou/hawkeye area knows that the rivers are flowing and out of control; was concerned with water in the pod upon arrival; upon inspection found water on floor under dining table and under bed(down by the heater); all windows totally dry, all cushions and mattress area totally dry; bathroom totally dry; all walls totally dry; basically everything totally dry except a small (and I do mean small) amount in those area; did it come thru slide? thru the floor? an excellent trip, dry camped; honestly i think that's the way to go; drove up on battery power then switched to gas; one other strange thing ive noticed in my pod is that when i switch to gas (and my lines are purged) is that it will not ignite unless i turn off all three powers to fridge then reset to gas; if i go directly from battery to gas it won't fire; hang in there mid west with all the storms
