You can buy small valves that are not long will not be a problem with ground clearance. That way you will not leave the cap again. We were dry camping on Vancouver Island near Port Renfrew. Had a great time. When leaving we drained the fresh water tank. You know,you take off the black screw cap to drain the tank so the pod will be lighter on the way home and then put it back on. Shocked
Well guess what??? That little black cap is sitting on the ground at Lizard Lake. LOL
