We were going to try to make it next weekend but it looks like the weather is going in the dumps again next weekend. I think last year our first time out was Mothers day week end. looking like that's the way it is again. I really like cool crisp mornings with the temps getting up into the 60's or low 70's during the day. Yeah, hate to rub salt in the wounds of our Northern Brotheren; but I don't even winterize my POD. I camp mostly in Fall/Winter/Spring and cover it up for the summer.  Been out with the grandkids 9 weekends since Halloween !  They are starting to get deadly with their airsoft guns; I come back looking like I have 1000 bites; those darn things hurt.....Camp by the prettiest trout stream in North Georgia. Haven't dewinterized yet here in Eastern Washington. It was 21 degrees a couple of nights ago. We did take our first trip of the season though.  We spent a couple of nights at Steamboat Rock State Park on Banks lake. Enjoyed lots of hiking, especially in Northrup Canyon.  No kayaking this time though. It was too cold and windy for that. 

The Pod did well. Can hardly wait until next time.

Mine's coming out of hibernation this weekend.  I was scheduled to be camping this weekend but had to put it off a week.  This will be the second awakening for my pod this year.  We took it to the Smokies in February for some cold weather camping.  I am ready to hit the road!

I don't care if it snows , blows, or rains. I am going to de winterize the pod this weekend. In southern Indiana I think we will be ok. I am ready to pull out, even if its only a one nighter.
